The Republic of Ireland start their UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifying campaign with a sensational fixture against the 2022 World Cup finalists, France, on 27th March. Stephen Kenny will be eager to get the qualification campaign off to the best possible start, so this should be a cracking game between the teams.
France will arrive to the Aviva Stadium on the back of an incredible run at the World Cup when they came agonisingly close to Argentina, just to lose on penalties in one of the best football matches of the century. This game will bring some of the worlds biggest stars to Dublin, with Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud and the rest of the squad all expected to line out for France.
With kick-off at 7.45pm, the opening match of the campaign at the Aviva Stadium will be one to remember as Ireland look to secure an historic result against the World Cup finalists.
